GUIDED PIKE FISHING IN NORFOLK

i make no excuses i am a passionate night time lure fisherman and i firmally believe that this is the future of our sport as the summers seem to be getting longer and hotter we all no how difficult it is to lure fish on a bright hot summers day and god knows we have had enough of those this year. so if the pike arent feedng during the day it doesnt take a genius to work out when they are feeding.

   so why am i so fantical about lure fishing at night?

    well firstly the norfolk broads are perfect for night fishing most of the broads are under 5 feet deep this makes them ideal for using shallow diving plugs and my favourite surface lures. And you just can't beat a jointed jitter bug these little lures are perfect for working along the edge of reed beds and lilly pads on warm moonlit summer nights.

if you have never lure fished at night you cannot imagine what its like,

in july 2006 i was on a night fishing trip with a regular client it had been a good trip at about 1am we were stood in the boat talking about a fish that had come out of some nearby lilys creating a huge bowwave but unfortunatly had missed the lure, on the next cast nothing happened until the lure reached the side of the boat as bob lifted the lure to recast a 12lb fish exploded from the water  missing the lure toatally but ending up in the boat now thats an instant cure for constipation.
